Secure Message takes the opposite approach: it runs as a gateway you control, keeps every message encrypted at rest under your keys, and lets recipients read protected mail with a one-time code — no account required.
The result is a single appliance that handles the whole flow — rule-based outbound protection, a one-time-code recipient portal, layered inbound spam and phishing filtering (SPF/DKIM/DNSBL plus heuristics and optional AI classification), recipient verification, quarantine, encrypted backups, SSO, and audit logs — without asking you to trust the infrastructure in the middle.
Every stored message and attachment is encrypted with AES / Fernet keys you hold. Plaintext is never written to disk — not even in quarantine.
The entire gateway runs on your own network. Nothing in the mail path depends on us being reachable, and no third party sits between you and your mail.
